2) understand that if you read this thread, you should expect to see "spoilers" of the first two books for the sake of discussion here.

3) if such a thread already exists, please find it for me. I attempted a search a few days ago and only found topics recommending this series.

So here are a few random bits from me to start things off.

Theon Greyjoy has to be one of the most interesting characters. The chapters where he's sailing back to his father was one of the most fun for me. He's such a pompous jackass. But he means well. It kinda sucked about him sacking Winterfell, but I've come to expect such destruction (of characters or places) from the books now. A few things stick out from the end of CoK, 1) he pretended to have killed the Stark boys when he hadn't (i'm really interested to see how that plays out for him); 2) he was seriously considering taking up the black for the Night Watch.

He is in a no-win situation, and I want to see if he attempts to vindicate himself and who he "sells out" to get that. (loyalty to a house that doesn't want him or to Rob, the only person to treat him as family) So this (and the dragons) is the big push for me to keep reading right now.

The ending left me a bit in a ... well, almost uncaring mood. Okay, so the Stark boys are splitting up. Bran is pretty cool, what with his new powers and all (and love the frog-eaters!), but Rikkon so far is a lame side character. I'm sure his role will increase, but right now I'm not very interested.
Jon is a "traitor"... bleh. And Tyrion is even more of a freak.

Arya had better get her wolf back pretty damn early in this next book or it's just going to piss me off with every chapter of hers that doesn't have them reuniting! (That's what I hoped would happen at each of her chapters... but her's are still fun - WAY better than Sansa in the first book. Ugh).

I could do with more of Rob... but enough of that.

Anyways, I know I just said alot about my thoughts going into book 3, but please don't ruin it for me!
